My camera gear during my London visit. Inside the Skin 50 pouch I carried the Zenitar 16mm and the Canon 50mm f1.4 as well as the Pixel Pocket Rocket card holder, extra battery and other assorted items. I used it strapped to my belt on the right side and it’s very comfortable and convenient. It’s my most common gear loadout. Mounted on the 5D mk2 is a 24-105 f4 IS, my primary lens.
Some of the strips of gaffer tape on my 5D mk2 started to get a little too mushy and shredded for my own liking. So I decided to remove them and in the process found out that a pretty good way to do so is using fresh gaffer tape.
It clings to the old residue, removes it, and isn’t as “invasive” as using alcohol or other solvents (like acetone, as I read somewhere) which I suspect might do some damage to the body plastics, namely acetone… don’t try that folks, I’ve seen it happen.
And know what? I need to get myself an EF 16-35mm f2.8 II…
